Monsignor Thawale Commends Catholic Women’s Dedication
Monsignor Patrick Thawale has commended the Catholic Women Association (CWA) in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, for their vibrant spirit and dedication in supporting the church.
Monsignor Thawale expressed his appreciation today as the association held a thanksgiving Mass and a fundraising event at Maula Parish Podium.
While appreciating the women’s efforts in helping the church, Monsignor Thawale advised them to be prayerful as the church belongs to God.
“The Church belongs to Jesus Christ, and they should pray a lot because the main purpose of prayer is to finally hear God talking to them, so they should be able to identify the will of God, so whatever they do shouldn’t be their business, but the business of Jesus,” said Monsignor Thawale.
He added by appreciating the theme of taking care of the environment as “very crucial because even the current Holy Father, Pope Francis, has so much reminded us that this is our only home we have, the earth. We have to take good care of it.”
Archdiocese of Lilongwe CWA chairlady, Christina Lupiya cited that they organized the fundraiser to source funds for completion of their house project which is under roofing level at Area 25 in Lilongwe.
